To the left of Parco Catullo stands an imposing structure that has housed the officers of the Austrian army since 1856. This typically military building was completed in just two years.

An interesting feature of this building is the presence of a one-and-a-half-meter embankment between the brick vaults that make up the central part of the structure, ensuring protection even from bombings. This construction demonstrates the great military engineering skills developed by the Austrian army.

Continuing along the Canale di Mezzo, you will see in front of you the Ponte dei Voltoni, a symbol of Peschiera del Garda.
